Remedial Investigations

Seymour Environmental prepares a site investigation and remedial options analysis providing the client with a cost-effective scope of work or monitoring program, which will comply with the regulatory agencies.  This process involves identifying the nature and extent of soil and groundwater contamination, characterization of the lithologic and hydrogeologic features of the project site, and evaluation of the potential for contaminant migration as well as potential impacts to receptors.

Remedial Action Planning and Implementation
Seymour Environmental has broad experience designing and implementing remediation to remove, treat and dispose of contaminated substances.  We design the appropriate remedial action for a particular site to meet the regulatory, client and budget needs.  We pursue remediation with our client’s goals as a major motivating factor. Seymour Environmental will investigate the feasibility of natural attenuation as a remedial alternative.  This option relies on naturally occurring processes in the soil and groundwater to clean up the site.  If natural attenuation is not a viable remediation option, we will evaluate the potential of obtaining site specific clean up standards to save money and avoid disruption of the site.
